SELL SURPLUS FLEXIBLE CABLE AND PORTABLE CORD
Rubber-jacketed portable cord, welding cable and flexible control cable from plants, shops and job sites — usually in coils, often in good condition.
Overview
Flexible cable covers the rubber and thermoplastic-elastomer jacketed products: SOOW, SEOOW, SJOOW, SJTW, welding cable, festoon and reel cable, and the flexible multi-conductor cable used on moving equipment. In Utah it comes out of manufacturing plants, mines, machine shops, agricultural operations, event production and maintenance departments.
This material is bought and sold on condition. A coil of SOOW that lived in a truck bed and got dragged across gravel is a different item from a coil that sat on a shelf in its original wrap. We look at jacket condition, conductor size, conductor count and length, and we will tell you plainly when a coil is too far gone to be worth moving.
Lengths under fifty feet are usually not worth a separate quote, but they are worth mentioning if they are part of a larger lot. Bundled lots of mixed portable cord are common and welcome.

If a coil has a deep gouge or a section of missing jacket, tell us where it is. It does not necessarily kill the quote, but finding it at pickup does.

Details that speed up a quote
None of this is mandatory. It is simply what lets us answer with a number instead of a follow-up question.
